Does this stop your air bag light from flashing?
fixing the problem with your airbag system would be a better way to get it to stop flashing. its probably flashing a code at you.

if your car was ever hit in the front to set off 1 of your cars crash sensors (car has 2) it will cause the light to flash or stay on depending on the car...

i think so, yes.. its the diag module. i might be wrong, but IIRC, the entire system is disabled and powered off with this removed.
