ok guys heres the issue. i have a 302 swapped over to carb,with a b303 cam and a points dist from a 72. motor started off as a 93 outa a town car?
i was told to set firing order 137-----, but when i do it does not run atol not even a pop. i put it to the 15------ order and it ran like crap for 5seconds and died. i need help code enforcement is on me for it.

when i put cam in the timing marks on gears face each other right? my buddy aske dme if it was tdc and marks linded up but cant rember if it was. if marks lined up do i still have to check tdc?

need some insight quick.

YOUR ARE 180* OFF, use the firing order for the ECM you have

well i have no ecm im runnning a holly carburator with a b303(which i was told to use the 137----- order but it wont run) tried the 180 thing nuttinneed advice on what to try

first..pull a plug and crank...see if you have any spark at all...

i mean crank the engine...not to pull the crank..heeh

are you getting any fuel..dump some down the carb

I'd probably find TDC first and re-stab the distributor...
