Default Is this normal??

today on my way home from work i lost all my brakes, no pedel, or e brake, will i get home and realize that fluid was leaking out of my caliper, found out it eas a loose bleeder screw, well i tightened it up, and filled up my master cylinder with brake fluid and while i was bleeding my brakes all the "old" stuff that came out was green. Is that normal??

Ive never seen green brake fluid.

The e brake is mechanical and must be broken because it should definately work even if the hydraulic brakes dont. Check for loose/broken cables and check if theres any material left on the rear shoes and check the adjustment of the rear brakes because something is definately wrong with the e brake.

What's the stuff smell like? Sweet/fishy? You didn't fill the brakes with coolant, did you?

I would say its time for you to do a full scale brake fluid flush.... I'm gonna be flushing mine out this winter along with new pads and rotors all the way around

I have seen it before.........In a couple of race bikes. The fluid boils under heavy braking and extended useand changes color.
