center console hard? psh that was super easy and only took me about 5 mins. i didn't have a manual (like it would help), first time doing it, not trying to put you down but i'll save you sometime. if the center console was hard to get off, don't do anything else to your car by yourself.

^********, give the kid some advice, he got the shifter in and it works, each person has different speeds and abilities, as for the question, look into the inline fuse as mentioned, verify the antenna cable in plugged in all the way, and check your ground wire, I'd remove the unit and inspect all the wires, then reconnect and see what happens... good luck the guys in audio/visual may be some more help troubleshooting stereos.

nope not yet really havent had to much time to look at it saturday ill try to fix it if not ill jus have to get a new headunit i jus hope its a bad ground...thanks

Did you remember to plug the antenna back in? That will cause what you are describing.
