that little .0000005 amp inline fuse in your stereo wire is probably blown.

ha yea it was pretty hard considering u have to take out the whole console...but anyways i dont no wats wrong
center console hard? psh that was super easy and only took me about 5 mins. i didn't have a manual (like it would help), first time doing it, not trying to put you down but i'll save you sometime. if the center console was hard to get off, don't do anything else to your car by yourself.

Did you remember to plug the antenna back in? That will cause what you are describing.

^********, give the kid some advice, he got the shifter in and it works, each person has different speeds and abilities, as for the question, look into the inline fuse as mentioned, verify the antenna cable in plugged in all the way, and check your ground wire, I'd remove the unit and inspect all the wires, then reconnect and see what happens... good luck the guys in audio/visual may be some more help troubleshooting stereos.

if you can't figure anything out, take it to a shop or whatever and just tell them what happened and see what they say instead of going and getting a new head unit. it could be something simple that we've forgotten or whatnot. good luck man!

if the anntenna is unplugd it will not make a difference because it will still turn on im thinking that maybe a wire probly got unplugged when he removed it and it could be the ground but check all the wires that connect in the wire harness from your stereo... the best way to know is by getting a a screw driver that has a light bulb inside i cantremember the name of those but it's maid to checkif theres any power runing thru your wires and check that the main power wire from the harness is getting juice ....
