uhh well she JUST pulled in, i called her to tell her to bring her camera, but it was too late. pretty standard setup though, chrome pipe off the tb down the the maf, and then just the filter on the maf, instead of another pipe to the filter.

the bucking was quite violent at some points. actually squealed the tires.

Unless the MAF is designed to have the filter attached to it, it will get inaccurate readings. The MAF needs to have somewhat smooth airflow going across it; hence why clocking a MAF works sometimes. But in your application, you've got the filter pulling air from all sides and then going directly into the stock MAF.

I may be incorrect, but I would bet that this is your problem. Try hooking the full kit up and see if the issue goes away. Also, disconnect your battery for a few minutes to reset the computer.

I didn't have to on mine. I ran the pipes and then just reached up from underneath to put the filter on.

ok so it was about 70 degree's here today, and i didn't have one problem with the bucking. i should have noted last night that it was raining cats and dogs while it was acting up. any thoughts?
have u checked the cap and rotor? and the plug wires mine acted up last winter when it rained with a smillar symptom did the parts been gone since then
