i have been running mine basicly the same way for a few months and havent had a problem belt hasnt stretched or anything only problem im having is driving wtih a power rack with no power

if you are worreid about your accessory bearings, which I HAVE HEARD FEW STORIES OF FAILURE
,.
id use the adjustable alternator bracket, like I have. It will never back down tension and take only 5 mins to instal, but now we all have the general concept,
