Default intake ?

Does anyone know where to find a good comparison chart for intake manifolds. I have been looking at alot of different ones
From Holley, Edelbrock, and some GT-40's

But what about Saleen intakes?

I have seen a couple of those for sale and on other sites.

How do they compare to the three i listed?

It Really depends on what you plan to do with the car, some are great for street use, some are for the strip.

No matter what you get, you wont see much in performance unless you swap out your heads and do some exhaust work.

I have a Typhoon Power Plus intake, EGR spacer, and an edelbrock TB. With these i did notice a nice increase, but i have 1.7 roller rockers and cat back exhaust and the EGR is blocked off, Now if i went for the GT40 heads then i'd really be doing something.

what are your plans for the car?

I forgot, Call Jegs or Summit and speak with a rep. They can generally steer you in the right direction.

I hope this helps.

Default RE: intake ?

the only mods on the car now are mac off road h pipe i am about to remove my cats that i had installed for emissions and i have removed my stock air filter setup and installled a cone filter onto the stock tubes.

as for now i just want to put on a new intake and maybe some new heads (on a budget)

i am going to get myself a 302 from the junk yard hopefully next week and slowly start to build it up boring it to 331 or 347.

i was hoping to be able to buy a decent intake that i could use on the next engine

although if i build the engine the way i want there will be no intake just a Kennie Bell charger mounted on top

hey what you know thats my plan to well you can ONLY use the stock lower intake and GT40 lower intake on the kenne bell which one are you looking at the blowzilla or flowzilla?

Blowzilla can ONLY use the GT40 lower intake and can be set to 8-16 psi
Flowzilla can use either the gt40 or stock lower intake manifold

twin screw supers own on low end trq compared to centrifical and turbos

WELL if you want a cheap set up..you can use a truck lower and a edelbrock upper..as far as the saleen/vortech intake they fair well but are very expensive and even harder to find
