PTVC? Am I missing something?
I agree that the alleged heads seem a bit fishy, but considering how well put together everything else is, I wouldn't doubt it too much. The guy I bought it from barely did anything to the drivetrain. The guy before him setup the engine and he has a list of all the things he did for his ownbragging rights and you can tell it was filled out as things went along. Who knows. I just know that a turbo or blower is where I want to go and I don't want to get at the internals until I have blown them up with boost

At this point, before you do any purchasing or further planning, you're gonna need to find out about your heads. You can't really do anything either way until you know that information and you'll have to pull one off to verify.
It sucks, but otherwise you could just be wasting your money if you buy heads when yours turn out to be worked over like you were told, or if you don't buy heads, slap a blower on it and figure out at some point that you've got plain ole stock E7's.....

Ah. Valve clearance. Familiar with the concept, unfamiliar with the acronym. I am quite engine savvy, so Im a bit shamed that I couldn't figure that out . I am going with the blower either way. It's my goal regardless if the heads are stock.......and I will get more power out of a blower than any set of heads I decide to install.
