Does anyone know what year Taurus they have to come off of? I searched every page of the "junkyard performance" sticky and theres nothing in there about the years they came off of. Just says that its a good fan, that doesnt help too much.

What years from the Taurus?
Is there anything else that should be taken? Wiring, etc.
Is there anything that needs to be baught? part #'s, etc.

After these questions are answered I will put them in the sticky.

Mine came off of a 94 I think but pretty much any 3.8 taurus will work. Also the front drive lincolns would work also, but like I said the mark 8 is the holy grail of fans. Both of these are quite a bit better than the after market jobs, higher quality, move alot more air, and you can get motors for them at the parts store. Search around for electric fan conversions. I found a lot of info on the corral but I am sure there info about it around here too. Don't neglect the alternator though, the fox alt wasn't really big enough to begin with and when you put an elelctric fan on it just gets worse. Do the 3g alt swap, its straight forward, you can get a used one at a wrecking yard, and the improvement in general is worth it fan or not.

Here is my taurus fan, coolant bottle, and taurus fan controller called a ccrm. It has several relays in it including the fan relay. I only used the fan relay and it plugs directly into the fan.
