I got my alarm install today. Crimestopper alarm with unlock/lock doors from remote, panic buttom, shock sensors, remote trunk unlock, fm paging, blue led warning light, one siren and also car's horn hooked onto alarm, My favorite car stereo shop, Autotronics installed it today. No more having to open the car from the door locks. Cool alarm.
^^ I got all that too. but my was made by HORNET. i even took mine to my favorite car stero shop to =P

I live in howard county. 3rd richest county in the country. No one in their right mind would try to rob/steal my car when they could go for something 1000 times more valuable. I dont even lock my doors. Hell iv left my wallet on my seat with the doors unlocked in the "ghetto" of howard county with completely untinted windows for 8 hrs and it was there when i came back.
What's your address, man?[sm=devilgrin.gif]

but even though the remote start and power locks etc. are bad ***. there is nothing better than securing and protecting you car with a car alarm. How much do u guys ownestly put into your car and dont have an alarm!?! there is no reason to not to pay the $200 for an alarm. whats worse... paying $200 or potentially losing $10,000??

i no longer worry even the slightest. my car alarm gave me a pager with and lcd screen that shows whats happening to my. i never have to worry again =)

GET AN ALARM IF U DONT HAVE ONE.

This is a good thread. I'm gonna get an alarm within the next couple of weeks, after reading this. It's funny, with my last car, the first thing I did was put an alarm in it. With the 5.0, however, I've been slow about it...mainly because it's garaged. Still, when returning to my car in a mall garage, I always wonder, "Is it gonna still be there?"
