a far as cheap rebuild kits, fullauto is a member on here, and has some nice prices on good stuff. Cheap aluminum heads???!?! I would stay with the more well known brands, (AFR, eddy, TF, etc...)

I bought my rebuild kit from northernautoparts. I didn't go with forged but they do offer it. (I am Poor)I went the the holley street dominator intake and a holley 650 cfm and it fit under my stock hood no problem.

Haven't had mine to the track and don't plan too either. I built mine for a street only. Mine is a 302 but is not that hard to switch over. I switched my dizzy over to a points style, then purched the XR-i points converter by Crane Cams. I have no computer on my car. My engine was carbed to begin with but it is not that big of a deal. Make sure you get a fuel pressure regulator so you don't over pump the carb. My car was FI originally and I kept the electric fuel pump.

there is a nice 351 kit on northernautoparts but they arent forged. .im looking for some kit where the block dont have to be bored but can eventually handle a supercharger.
