i bought mine and it was bypassed... i took it off so and plugged it bak in to see if it leaked at all... it doesnt but the heat is never that hot so i will need to take the time to replace it sometime...

I repalced mine and yes you have to pull the dash and stuff but it aint that bad, and will drive my stang year round, snow or no snow thats why i got traction cables at napa, but if there ice screw it I aint even puttin the key to the ignition. and if its that cold outside get a small portable heter from the walmart like 20 bucks, run the extension cord into the car plug up the small heater and boom comfortable workspace....
