Well there is irony to this so allow me to explain.

Had to run to my local Pathmark and deposit a check at the bank inside so I pull up and park right in front leaving my g/f in the car since I was only going to be a few minutes tops. Sure enough im in and out, as I get in the car my g/f tells me some guy came up to the car and started screaming at her about my car being parked there and called her a c*nt and flipped her off. So being the fine specimen of testosterone I am, I ask her where he went and there he is packing groceries into his van with his wife. I pull up next to him and ask him what his problem was and why he has to disrespect my lady, and he slams his hands on my car and says " your my f***ing problem pal parking your car there your lucky I didnt key your damn car right in front of your bitch there. SO I reply "Key my car? you would key my car? fine have it your way, get your hands off my car *******". After 30 seconds of him just cursing at me I had enough, this guy was getting his hands off my car one way or another so I did a one shot right in his face, smoked up the whole parking lot you can be damn surehe let go.[8D][8D]

So now im pissed but I get home, I'm laughing it off, I leave the car running outside to go throw my deposit slip in the house, I come out and go to put it into first, and I heard a pretty loud pop and my car wouldnt let me into gear. Tore up my tranny just trying to get into the parking space. The whole time afterwards I swear i was saying in my head " That Fu**ing guy!"[:@]

So yeah now I'm locked out of all my gears, Im lucky the car even starts. I saw a stock clutch for $188.00 and was prob gonna go snag a t-5 rebuild kit off 50resto. Anything else I should look into while I got this whole shabang apart? Or any tips so I dont have to take this thing apart again?

What dick, I can't stand people like that. Are you sure you blew the clutch? The clutch cable could of just snapped. Do you have a clutch pedal at all?

wow im surprised thats all you did. if a guy ever said that to my woman or touched by car i would MAKE SURE my car was the last thing he touched for a long time. Most likly would have broke his jaw too, to teach him to watch his mouth.

/end rant.

Yeah I'm pretty sure it's the clutch. If the cable snapped I wouldnt be able to start the car probably. Plus i do have a little bit of feel in the pedal still. If anything the good news would be it came off the the pulley. Could that be a possibility?

BTW, i did want to get out of this car and rock him one but the gf was telling me to just drive away so I kinda made her happy at the same time.

i snapped my cable amd the car started fine. the neutral safety switch is on the pedal itself and isn't affected by the cable. plus if you're locked out of every gear, seems like the cable isnt engaging/disengaging the clutch, so you'll grind all the gears

park behind him and block him in. if he gets away follow him, cut him off and make the bastard hit you. people like that deserve it.

should have wrote down his plate # and make him sound like a threat to the police (after all he did threaten you and ur girl..)
