I actually ordered hood pins on thursday waitin for them to come in :/


Also.. the car was backed into the driveway and going down the road i heard no noise over my exhaust and cd player... Other duhhh i would have pulled over

When I got my Cobra hood I use the normal latch as well as hood pins. I do not want to go through this. better safe than sorry. I was wondering what brand hood pins do you guys use. I bought a set at advance and they are rusting already. [:@]

Oh Man. That sucks. I did it once in the rush of the moment and busted the windsheild in the process.
I fixed it and repainted the cowell and put in new glass and got a good set of
hood pins.
Hope you fix it soon.

I use the ford racing hood pins, expensive but they're stainless. The only part that rusted were the rings on the pin because they're chrome, i just took them off slid on some black electrical heat shrink tubing, hit em with the heat gunand now they just look like they're powdercoated

it has nothing to do with the type of hood it is guy, you can forget to latch your steel one too, I promise.

Yeah.. i'm glad my hood is fiberglass and not steel otherwise bye bye windshield
