Hey can someone give me a wite up on how to remove the tranny step by step out of my 86 fox.

Manual , auto?

1) Remove the shifter lever from the cabin.
2) Remove the four 12mm 12pt bolts holding the driveshaft, remove the shaft.
3) Remove the mid-pipe.
4) Use a prybar to remove the clutch cable from the fork
5) Remove speedo cable
6) Remove the four bolts holding the trans to the bellhousing.
7) Pull that SOB back and it'll come out!

That's for a T5 at least.
