Mathematically... it just doesnt work like that... you can directly connect the speed of the car to the RPMs of the engine based on the rolling diameter of a tire and the gears in the diff/trans.
3.08's is about 2250ish at 80mph, 3.55 is about 2500ish, 3.73 is 2650ish, and 4.10's SHOULD be 2800ish...

I have 3.55s and at 80mph i run about 2500rpm, so Adder's math is pretty accurate. I'd definitely expect higher than 2600rpm @ 80mph with 4.10 gears.
