Default Finally switch over to 3G

i went to the track and my alt was on its way out, i could barely get it above the "red" zone driving at full throttle. so i switch to the 3g and its great, brighter headlights, i can use my ac at stop lights now. it wasnt expensive either. but if you havent done it yet, i highy reccomend it. and it looks better too.

notched the bracket, got the crimp connectors and cut the plug and spliced it. not hard at all. youll see it when you have a side by side of the different alts.

does the 3g have an internal regulator. so you can do away with the external regulator.....
reason being i need a better alternator setup being im about to put an eletrical fan on the stang... and also im going to hide my wiring in the fenders.if i can get rid of my external voltage regulator thats one less thing i have to hide i know alot of the aftermarket alternators from summit have internal regulators just wondered if the ones from the 94-95 stang had internal regulators....

You want to run a completely different power wire as the two ten gauage wires run up the harness a bit and splice together into one wire! A 3g can fry the stock power wire no problem.
This guy is an electrical engineer, he knows his stuff.
