Default Heads question

Alright guys here it is, you can call me idiot if you want but i dont know alot about heads. im ordering heads for my car tomarow morning. I have a 347 stroker with vortech v1 supercharger and stage two trick flow cam. i was just looking on ebay just checking out every possibillaty. i found these heads http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...;rd=1&rd=1, will i need new roller rockers i have forged pistons. alright well just need your help im not good with this stuff. IF someone can let me know if good deal that would be awesome. thank you very much john

You're not going to need new RRs because it says the heads come with them...Maybe you should read a bit more in the details? If anything you might need new pushrods, what heads are you running now?

i know they come with them but you can get them with out them to just didnt know if you think i would need to get those to i have just stock heads bigger valves and stuff nothing big i need heads bigbig time just didnt know if i needed new rockers and if those would be good for my car. i called the guy and he said without rockers it was 940 shipped to my house. just seemed a little low on price wasnt sure. thats why im asking

I see, well if you dont have RRs yet, I'd just get em with the heads. I wouldnt upgrade my heads and keep the stockers.

The stock rockers or the new ones with the heads? The ones that come with the heads should be fine...just find out if they are 1.6 or 1.7s

The specs look pretty good. Personally, I'd go with some AFR185s but these heads look like a great deal. And the specs are decent

you get what you pay for...and you don't buy the no name brand with cylinder heads...no way no how. When it comes to aluminum heads you need to consider FAR more than just flow numbers...you need to consider REAL issues like quality of the parts...of even the quality of the casting. Poor quality castings will be a nightmare when threads strip or surfaces are not properly machined. Don't make rash decisions with big ticket items.
