Thanks for the replies guys. Yeah I'm thinking Novi 1000. Would you guys really buy a s/c over a new block though? A friend of mine thinks I should drop the cash on a short block to increase reliability. I have about 2500 and it burning a hole in my pocket.

I agree I would go with a novi 2000 though or atleast that what im lookin at.When you decide to do a short block and all that you will be glad you have the larger supercharger so you can turn up the boost! 92whitelightning what numbers are you puttin down? Im looking into doing a similar combo like you but a little bigger heads.

$2500 wont even get you ablock (not to mention crank, rods, pistons, etc.) unless you buy a new stock one, but whats the point in that. buy the sc and tell your friend to watch your bumper as it quickly disapears from site once that sc goes in.

do a compression test. see how your motor is doing. if the numbers are good and within 10% of each other, youll be fine with the motor you have

I picked up a novi1k and i'm installing it this month...I got it for $1000 shipped off the corral totally complete and in great shape. Do some shopping around and you'll save some bucks.
