Default powersteering leak

well the last few weeks ive noticed that the rack and pinion (is that what its called?) is leaking. its they thing that pushes and pulls the wheels. its the left side only, from right under that rubber boot. is this an easy thing to replace on my own or should i have it done? how much would one cost? summit has one for $450 but its supposed to be high performance. i just need a factory replacement. there is a ford "grave yard" near by that has nothing but ford parts. they usualy have everything you can imagine for super cheap. do you think a used one would be ok or should i go new? ive bought from this place (All Ford) and have never had a problem. any suggestions?

You dont want a used one, a new one is about 120 or so from an auto parts store and its easy to replace
