i tried to put a new pcv screen and pcv elbow/pcv grommet in my 5.0. but the hole is only a little bigger than the pcv. so i can't pull the screen and i cant put the grommet in. does the pcv plug into the lower intake is that why its not the same as stock? i have gt40 upper and lower intake in right now. if anybody knows whats up it would be of great help. thanx

and just to make sure this was the case i put the new screen on the hole itself and its definately too small, same with the rubber elbow??

i'm hoping that i dot need to take the lower intake out to get the screen out? does any one have any ideas?

Those gosh darn screens are a pain in the ****. I just got done tearing off my upper intake and T/B just to get that friggien screen out cause the local auto shop tried to scam me(Yet again). Those old con-artist mother ****ers acted like they never heard of a pcv screen and told me they couldn't give me an estimate and I'd just have to "leave it there and let them look at it". The first time I went there a month ago they told me it would be 350-750 to change my rear main seal but they wouldnt know how much till they were done. But I decided just to get new heads(maybe) and at least upper and lower intake while its off. So If you already got your old screen out... CONGRATULATIONS cause I tried everything till I finally beat it up so bad that it went down into the intake.
