I got a pretty much stock 5.0L, it needs a rebuild could i just get a bare 5.8L block and just fill in the parts with the 5.0L? what parts wont fit?

What parts are you talking about exatcly? Some parts are interchangeable, but not all

Like what parts will I need to buy in order to have a complete 5.8 engine.. I guess what i'm trying to say is what parts from my 302 will fit on the 351? heads? headers? intake manifold? fuel injectors? oil pump... all that good stuff..

ok you will i beleave need a thicker gasket inbeween the intake and heads , and a new oil pump ,never reuse one , your goin to need 351 head parts and maybe headsers , because the heads (dont hold me to this) but i think there diff angles so other then that what are you puttin it in , if a fox you will need an oil pan and pickup to fit

just buy a rebuild kit for a 5.8. most likely it will end up costing you less this way. maybe you'll need a few extra extra different things like heads for sure
