Default Stockpiling

I might buy an 89 LX with 85k, hpipe, flows. Im thinking about stockpiling heads, cam, headers, and intake till I have it all at once then just do it all at the same time instead of taking the motor apart several times. Is this a good idea? Should I stock pile the MAF, and TB also or no?......also can some1 tell me that website that has all the exhaust sounds on it for mustangs, Thanks.

Default RE: Stockpiling

sounds quite reasonable to me to wait until you have everything you want and then do the mods all at once. I would also get the MAF, injectors, and TB too, just make sure you get the injectors sized to go with the cam and heads and have the MAF calibrated for the size of injectors you select. don't forget the fuel pump and fuel pressure regulator too as they are needed too if you go for more than 300 HP overall. you might check out the pipes, boost and juice section for the exhaust sounds information, I'm sure I've seen something posted there about sights with sound clips of different exhaust systems.
