ok the large post with the strap is the ground, you can put a ground here if you want to, but you dont need to.

take the large positive wire leading from the battery to the firewall solenoid, and run it to the other post on the new solenoid.
the small terminal is called the "S" terminal, or "S" wire. This is for the wire from the ignition key.
