Get the flaming river manual rack.........................get the quick ratio one.....you will not be any happier.
was thinking of just gettign the standard...wouldn't the quick ratio be harder to turn..you know with the small stock steering wheel and all...i also wanto t run 8" wide rims...eventually
grow some damn muscle i drive my mustang with a power rack with no power and the stock 10 holes no problem

Your crazy, I had the quick ratio kit and 205/6/15's on 7 in rims and it was still a bitch to turn and especially to park. I don't think the5 thousanths of a second from taking power steering off is worth it anymore.

Manual racks are more responsive. The hydrolic system in power steering dampens your feeling in your steering. Plus there is no slack in the wheels when turning.

I'm not dong it to gain speed from my car..i'm putting in an unconventional engine in and hooking up the power steering may be a pain...much simpler to just put in a manual rack....was considering uping the size of my sterring wheel by an inch or so to make it a bit easier with a manual rack.

It sure may. Too big a wheel sux though. I plan on getting a quick ratio one possibly. Everyone says it is fine once over 10mph.
