Well with 1500.00 if it were me I'd prolly order a set of GT-40p's from tri-state cylinder heads. Then watch ebay and the local swap meets from a used intake for a couple a hundred. Then I'd get the Steeda #19 or one of Comp's new XFI / EFI Cams and a set of newFMS roller lifter. If you keep the cam selection mild it wont mess with the computer. Then find yourself a Calibrated MAF and some 24# injectors. Top it all off with a new or used CAI (you can usually find one cheap on ebay) Then bump your timing a couple of degrees to start andif you've bargin hunted enough the1500 should have just about covered it. However I do recommend getting this combo dyno tuned at the first opportunity.

That is basically what i just done, except i had to buy a lot of security stuff for ignition (coil, cap , wires, etc...) Using the Steeda 19 cam, though for his naturally aspirated car he might wanna run the 18, and the gt-40p's, bought that trick flow intake, rockers... I have right around 1500 in all of it and i bought throttle body and some other stuff... So it can be done

Id be concerned about the computer if he was too use the #18 cam. It has abit more overlap than I like too see in a cam unless your gettingit dynotuned right after.

Here's a question. will parts for a 93 fit on a 94? Cause that Steeda #18 Cam is for a 93.

^ nope, just have to get a MAF to match...Which a new larger MAF would be a nice lil upgrade anyways.

You should really clarify that statement. No...you dont NEED to recalibrate your Stangs computer to run bigger injectors although IMO its the best choice. No...Just swapping a stock MAF meter from another ford vehicle that used 24# injectors, like say a 93 Cobra will not work. The most popular way these days (only cuz its cheap and easy) is to buyan AftermarketMAF meteroffered bycompanieslike C&L and PMS which are "calibrated" to allow you to use bigger injectors with the stock computer.
