I found an artcl on "box uppers" seems like its a good box upper.
http://www.mustang50magazine.com/tec..._intakes_test/

My standard Trickflow R upper was only good for 440hp in that artcl
and thats about what my engine made last time on the dynojet.
The Mondo box upper on TFS R lower was good for 470hp, which is what my engine is capable of from engine dyno.

Think I've figured out that with a 90mm Lightning MAF, 90mm TB,
4" Anderson power pipe intake, 32lbs injctrs and good Box upper along with the 1 3/4 LT's
I just added, I should be able to make same hp as a carb set-up, since I will have zero
inlet restriction from any EFI stuff or non needed long runner upper intake. ( low end torque is not a problem )

I had BBK shorty swap headers and it made 350rwhp at 5,200

I just put on BBK 1 3/4 longtubes and will be getting that intake upgrade stuff
Hope to see 370-380rwhp at 6,000 rpm.

I like that Mondo box alot too, cause it cants the TB down at an angle
and will solve all kinds of hood to CAI fitment issues I've been trying to figure out.

what about the Probe EFI Spyder intake? its expensive but it gets rid of the long runners it seems like it would be a good choice

It was in that artcl too.

I already have a TFS R intake so the Mondo Box is a no brainer for easy add on.

for the price it seems like overkill. ive heard good things about the holley and the trick flow for forced induction. Still pricey but not as bad as the one you want
