oil pump?

RE: oil pump?
Both of you need to remove the 4 bolts on the old oil pump itself , after it is removed from the car.
You need to take a look and see what got in there and siezed it up or what broke. There used to be a repair kit for them, but I dot see them anymore, back in 1998 , I was fixing them like cake and icing.
Ive found Rod and Main Bearing Metal, RTV, Lifter Bearing Pieces and just old premature wear and seizure of the internal parts.
You might be asking, how did all of this get in here?, Well most of the time a gap developes in the pickup tube screen at the circle(button in center), allowing small particles to go right through the screen.
Next is simply, the particles could be small enough to enter past the screen.
