tranny kick down cable?

Default tranny kick down cable?

the bushing broke off of the throttle body naturally the kick down cable is loose my local shop put anew one one and readjusted the cable, my car has a tci built aod and now the shifting is off from where is was before the cable fell, how do i adjust the cable to try and get it back to the way it was.

trial and error on a chevy the tighter it was the longre it held a gear & the harder it shifted

If I remember correctly, you can turn a nut down on the linkage at the trans...sorta like a clutch cable
