need help with the moldings

Default need help with the moldings

i was wondering how i put the black moldings back on the side of the car? what kind of tape do i use and what is a good kind and where can i get it.

He thinks but I know that the back 2 go on with those tin nuts as do the ones on the fenders but the ones on the doors and on the quarter in front of the back tires all go on with 2 way tape, the way to go is 3m tape but If you can try to get the metal strip off the back of them before attaching the mouldings or they are gonna look wavy. IF you are feeling rich like I was, just buy new ones! haha I spent 450 dollars for the 2 door mouldings and one of the quarter mouldings

what's the best way to get the metal out of them? I try cutting with a razor knife and wound up with a trip to the ER and 7 stitches in my arm. ALWAYS cut away from yourself.

The best way to get the mouldings off the car is to take a puddy knife and put it between the moulding and the door and slowly go down the length of the moulding and that takes them off. As for taking the metal piece off I had peeled the beginning of the metall and tried ripping them off with pliers and it just ended up screwing up and ripping hte moulding so I bought new ones

so the molding is atached to a metal strip by 3m 2 way tape that is bolted some how to the door and stuff?

no.. the moulding is 2 way taped to the door. industrial strength 2 way tape at that..
