Default cut off

hi, what is the cut off of a 5,0 1989???

and if I got at cut off do you think that can cause domage on my motor ... thanks

cut off? like a rev limiter... not on a fox nope... mine has seen 7500[:@][:@][:@].

not sayin that ur wrong but i was pretty sure that it was 6250rpm. i kno the stock tach is often off by a bit but thats a bit much to just be reading wrong. idk im prolly wrong

w/out fuel how does its make power to spin faster (more RPM)? im confused with that last comment. how is that possible?

There is no designated rpm like with a rev limiter. The spark is getting so close together between power strokes that itis breaking up.
