Smog port on heads, 5/8s plug ?

I believe the bolt in the bakc of the heads is 5/8 to block to smog ports, but does anyone know the thread ?

The bolt size is 9/16, not sure of the thread. I just bought grade 8 bolts from Lowes and put 4 washers on each one to shorten the length.

I thought they were 7/16", but I might be wrong. Coarse thread, not sure of the exact pitch but you usually only have a fine or coarse option.

its 9/16ths on the sn-95s idk bout the fox but i would assume the same. go with the coarse thread like LTnone said

what i have been told to do a few times was to cut the piping off of those little blck pieces that are bolted to the heads flip them put some shlack and bolted them back on. So thats what i have done and no problems yet.

I tried that b/c i didnt want to go get the bolts. I had a problem after about 10 minutes, it leaked. They are only bolted at the top so that is somewhat risky. Do what you want, but i say bolt them bad boys
