I have a 10pt cage in my 94 5.0. I would like to make the bars swing out to make it easier to get my big *** in my car. I know they make a "swing out" hinge kit on chassisworks.com but its like $180/side. Anyone have any other suggestions or alternitives? Thanks for your help! Bob

If you already have door bars, you can modify them very easily with a welder and some flat stock.. its hard to describe how to do it... really wish I could just show you

thats the part im trying to justify. Ive been looking for thoose, i didnt think they were that much, i think im going to get them anyway though. ofcourse they arent worth that much, none of the parts we buy for our car are worth what we pay usually. Ive seen both styles before and i like the expensive ones allot better. You would think someone makes some raw steel ones instead of polished ones or whatever they are since most people paint their cages, you would save allot there.
