Default new flywheel?

i just got a king cobra clutch kit and was wondering if you guys thought if itwas necessary to also get a new flywheel.

u can get your old one resurfaced. its like when you change your brakes, if you dont get the rotors turned or buy new ones then the brakes tend to wear faster and not grab as well.

if u resurface the flywheel make sure u shim it, not sure why this has to be done since the pressure plate is bolted to the flywheel just know it needs to be done
