Hey guys i was going to paint my upper intake cause i saw someone on here do it with a flat black kind of?? i forgot what of paint he used but today i was thinking of using black header paint. Would that work ok??

Somethin like that? Here are the steps I did...
1) Powerwashed the sh*t out of it and got it SUPER clean.
2) Scuffed it it down with a light scuff pad... kind of like a brillo pad. They are actually from Mirka, the ones I used.
3) I used Total Prep, spray it, power wash it.
4) Total Prep again, spray it, power wash it.
5) Spray it with 1200" semi gloss paint from autozone. I did like 5-6 coats on it... light and build bigger as you go.

That looks GOOD. i already wire wheeled the intake to ill spray it and throw some of the header paint on and post some pics when its all done, well when the motor is all done which it will be when my parts finally come in hahaha.
oh and does anyone has M/T valvle covers on their motors???

i have only seen them for small block chevy's and mopar's. and i think they were actually made by holley for MT.
thats what they look like. even though that is a small block chrysler.
