Default c+l airmeters

I have a 76 ml c+l airmeter calibrated for 19 pound injectors and now I bought some 24 pound injectors so I was wondering if they will work or do I need a bigger tube for my airmeter. If the tube is not that much bigger than the 19's can I just drill it out to work for 24's or is that a bad idea? Does anyone know the tube size for 24's? Thanks for your help.

You need to buy a different calibration tube for the 24's dont try and drill it there is no way you will get the size right.

Thanks for the info I was just wondering if it could be drilled because it takes like 6 weeks to get parts here!

you cant drill it because the sampling tube for 24# injectors is SMALLER then the tube for 19's. keep in mind that the c&l uses the stock electronics which means the way it works is it tricks the stock electronics in order to run larger injectors. when you put larger injectors on the car would run rich without recalibrated the maf....fallow me? so to lean it out (i.e. shorter the injector pulse width) the c&l meter has to make the stock electronics think less air is coming into the motor then really is. they do this by running a smaller sampling tube. the smaller sampling tube supplies less air to the meter's electronics making the computer lean out the car just enough to compensate for the larger injectors.

check the C&L site for correct tube...
http://www.cnlperformance.com/calibration.html

Order directly from them, as sometimes used tubes can be other thanwhat the seller is advertising.

Here are some of the actual diameters if you are interested...
