Tranny fluid PROBLEM

I have an 86 GT that I just filled with tranny fluid after it was reinstalled in the vehicle. Go to a local hardware or lawn and garden store. Pick up a manual pump, that looks close to a grease gun. It has a tube that comes off of one end, and a cap with a t handle that screws off. Fill up the pump with tranny fluid but leave about 2 inches from the top and screw the cap back on. The t handle has a rubber "pusher" that pushes the fluid down and through the hose. I did this with mine, had to fill the little pump like 5 times or so, but man was it easier than tryin to siphon it in. I can't find a pic or i'd link one on here for you. It only cost me like $15.

ok well i read part of that, the rear seal on the tranny seals to the drive shaft... put the drive shaft in and fill if threw the shift housing... i personaly use an intercooler pump, or a manual hand pump that screws on to the top of the fluid bottle

RE: Tranny fluid PROBLEM
I filled mine the same way. Just find a hose about the size of the fill hole and cram it in there. Hold the other end of the hose up high and let gravity pour it in. Stop when the fluid starts backing up in the hose.

RE: Tranny fluid PROBLEM
put your transmission fluid on a plastic squeeze bottle (rear end oil bottle works well). Attacha little hose to thetit on theend of the bottle. Squeese the fluid intoh te hole. You will only be able to empty the bottel ahlf way...fill the bottle again...repeat until the fluid runs out of the hole.
