I was woundering what the stock horse power is on a 94 GT 5.0 manual . I think it is 220hp but am not sure?

yes i think it is 225. the 93s were under rated at 205 but all 5 oh engines are basically the same. you could also try to google your question and probably come up with more info. try researching questions prior to posts.

Officially, they say that the 94 and 95 GT are 215 BHP, as opposed to the previous 5.0s that were 225 HP. Personally, I think they called it 215 HP so that when they made the change from the 5.0 to the 4.6 in 1996, they could say that the new design yielded an increase in HP, as the 96 - 98 GTs were rated at 225 HP again.

Edited to add" barring the 1993 that was rated at 205 HP, but I think that it is the same thing with that... they were going with a style change and they wanted to show an increase in power. I have seen everything from an 87 to a 97 all be in the same basic range stock.
