How much money is the trick flow compared to a junk yard ford explorer intake, and what are the advantages of this?

What year do I look for on the explorer intake, and will everything bolt right up from my old 5.0 intake, can the explorer intake be ported, and polished? what kind of gains can i expect?

I've heard that the explorer intake can come from the 5.0L engine on the 96-00 explorers. I'm gonna go with trick flow myself b/c it flows a little better but if i found an explorer intake i would take it in a second. Buying the explorer intake will save you a few bucks if your on a tight budget and with a little porting, it can flow just as well.
