Wow you guys throw some big numbers around...scary. Guess all that time Ispent testing and tuning at thelocal dynowas a total waste. GT40 heads and alpha cams with your basic Explorer intake...apparently the monster combo I was not aware of. I have SEEN majority of GT40 combo's lay down 260's, I have SEEN AFR and TW combo's with custom cams barely bust 300's...some of you guys must have one hell of a tuner lined up. I myself have busted my *** to make the numbers my car makes working over my parts, testing and picking my components and FINALLY made the numbers I wanted...some of you guys really have the upper hand on a guy like me. My goodness the internet fact enhancement machine is running wild these days.

So explain to me why it's so far fetched that a car w/ ported GT40's can't break 300 rwhp.... If Powerheads E7's can get w/ in a few of 300, there's no reason GT40's or P's can'tbest that by a decent marginafter beingported and running 1.9/1.6 valves. Hell, I'd almost bet they'd beat out your Eddy's on the dyno or at the track.... If not, they'd run close.

I also mentioned that the intake would need to be worked over. You are right about the cam though....I missed that earlier. The TFS stage 2 ora similar custom grind would be better suited.
