Need Help brake ?'s
Ok first i got my car as a project, that i have almost completed!!
Well the brake system of the 5.0s are just plain bs. Yesterday i replaced all the front brake lines fine, started on the rear, well i ran the line. Came the the bracket that slpits to rubber, rubber was broke in half and rusted out where it goes from line to rubber. k so i brought that down and figured i would plan ahead, where the rubber goes up to the splitter theres no bolt its permantly attached ! So im wondering if i can just run the brake line all the way to the back and find a splitter to run to the rear brake line? Im not sure if this is a bad idea as that the rubber is there for a purpose, any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

RE: Need Help brake ?'s
Dont use stock style rotors if you still have them, too much fade. Im use Power Slots and havenoticed a big difference in braking and have yet to experience fade. I still have rear drums for the moment.
Rubber is usually used for one thing, to help prevent /lessen vibration. Or they are to bridge two pieces that move independently from another to prevent a failure. The hard lines in my opinion are for the actual connections or for spanning a long distance since its stronger and keeps its shape (less prone to collapse, especially with brake lines).
The rubber is likely there for a reason so id leave it. Just replace it with another section of OEstyle rubber hose used for brakes. Dont use anything softer than whats there now. Hope i understood what youre trying to do.
