Default Ball Joints

What would you guys do? Go with a set of Oem ones for 44$ canadian or a set of Trw's for 66$ canadian with a lifetime warrenty. I dont see any reason to spend an extra 22$ do they wear out that fast?

Thanks

depends on your road conditions. the lower ball joint is the first structurally supporting part of the car that takes the hit when you hit a pothole or bump or whatever, so usually they go before anything else, but as long as your not plowing snow with your stang, you should get a good 5-8 years out of them.

not me though, stupid massachusetts roads. BIG DIG FTL!

yah. no need for more expense with something so elementary as a ball joint.

if you ever lower it, you will need special ones, but until then, OEM is A-OK.

no reason to fork out extra cash for non-OEM. If the OEMs gave you good life, stick with them. That's weird though, normally OEM costs more than the aftermarket. Or at least the same.

Not sure about ball joints on lowered Stangs but you will offset rack bushings.
