If your car runs at thermostat temperature, like it should.
It will be no cooler with an electric fan. The thermostat controls your temperature.
A proper set up, like a factory application can actually run hotter than a mechanical fan when you stop the car. Reason, mechanical fan is always pulling air through the rad. Even if the thermostat is closed and there is no water flowing through the rad.
A regualated electric fan only runs when the temperature climbs above thermostat temperature. There will always be a delay from stat temp to fan on temp when you stop the car.
Running the fan with the stat close is a good waste of electricity.

i have a heavy duty 2 row which is bigger than a 3 row and actually works better its more efficiant. as for the fan yes they make a pretty noticalbe difference in performance and cooling get a taurus fan from a late 80's early 90's 3.8 has 2 speeds i love mine works great
