Default cam / intake

my 85 is bone *** stock other than carb . but my buddie is tryin to sell me a cam and a brodix intake for it . he said cam is like new and said its like a 490 lift or something hell i dont know he was drunk lol . but being that my motor is all stock would it hurt to put that cam in it and intake .

Without knowing what the cam/intake really are who's to say? If it's mismatched the car will end up running like crap in all likelyhood.
