Default Oil pressure

Need help with this one. I put an 87 HO blk in my 66 fastback. I'm using the timing cover, oil pan and pickup off the 66.And I'm using anHO oil pump. Having problems hold a steady oilpreesure. Oil pressure changes with directional change. At a idle 50 psi, 1500 rpm - 60 psi, which is great. But when driving the car, can vary from 15 to 60. Accelarating or braking the pressure willdrop.I'm going to drop the pan to check this out. Any ideas? Would appreciate it. Thanks.

Default RE: Oil pressure

might want to make sure you have enough oil in there. I know when oil is low it can change the psi during acceleration and braking, so make sure your either not leaking fluid or have 5qrts in there.
