Default 331 w/TFS H/C/I is in and running GREAT!

This thing is frigging incredible. It pulls and pulls...

I have to say thanks to Greg Davies and Brian...

I havent been this close to being happy since my 69 chevelle.

Unfortunately the 390 gears will have to wait. T5 trans aint gonna last long either.

But here is where I need help...
I have a few problems that I need to solve before emissions (judgement day).
I need to reinstall catted H-pipe. I am thinking about just having the local mufler shop weld in a set of replacement cats at $65 a pop and stay legal from now on. Do ou guys think that would work just as well as the hi-flow catted-H-Pipe?

Next, the check engine light is on...I know why...I have a 75mm TB and a BBK AFPR (This thing is huge).
Even aftermassaging the edges the EGR unit and the BBK unit does not fit properly.
I was told that the stock one is much smaller (http://store.summitracing.com/largei...?part=SMP-PR15). Looking on Summit's site the smallest one appears to be the Mallory unit as shown here (http://store.summitracing.com/largei...?part=MAA-4212).
Does anyone know which one in real life is smaller in size.

I have a couple of other little problems, the idle hangs, I need a rear breather cap at the PCV spout (didn't have the hole cutter and I wanted to drive it...so i got a little impatient)

Still need to getpainted be June 10.

I've got the TFS intake, I'm using a Kirban and it works great. The first time I tried to install it, for some reason it hit the EGR and I gave up. A few months later I went to install it again and I must have done something right because I got it to fit lol. Order the Kirban, it'll fit.

I have the BBK AFPR on my car right now. I recently aquired a Mallory AFPR and it is WAY smaller at the top, the Mallory one is kind of like the shape of a cone, while the BBK is a cylinder shape. I got the BBK one to fit by reclocking the EGR sensor. You can see in the pics whatI mean.

Looking at that there should be plenty of room for the BBK. ThenI can reconnect the egr and hopefully eliminate one of the reasons for the CE.

Thanks
