Hey guys, first thing this summer i'm going to need to put Cats on my mustang because its needs to pass emissions in this wonderful state of massachusetts [&:]. Anyways i have an 88gt hatch mostly stock so the question is.. Will there be much of a difference between regular cats and high flow cats in a mostly stock application. The shops wants an extra $150 for high flow cats so if there not worth it im gunna go with plain cats. Thanks guys
An extra $150???

You can almost buy a pair of 3" Magnaflow Hi-Flow cats for that much...

Shops know you have to have cats, so they charge a first born for them...

I have 2 magnaflow cats ready to weld into my exhaust when the motor is done. I will not remove and install the cats for testing, that just seems retarded to me.

Get a good cat, and it will last a long time.
If appropriately sized, it will not hurt power enough for you to notice...
