Default quick question in need of a quick answer

With my mods listed (sig), should I be buying a higher octane fuel or is 87 octane just fine? An older friend of mine used to have a 92 Mustang that dynoed near 425 horsepower (which is whyI want to believe him)and he thought I should get 93 octane.

depends on your tune

But yeah tune your car to run 91 (you get better dyno numbers)

I always ran 93 ONLY in my 87 GT, even before the Heads and cam. It spark knocked if I ran 87. Course, I ran 13* timing all the time. I think the car runs better on higher octane gas personally

K Thanks jw because we ran 93 octane for 2 hours when we were driving it back, would that hurt it at all?
