Default 1995 5.0

Well i got a question my friend just purchased a 1995 5.0 and he is port & polishing and shaving, how much improvement should he see from all this? Not bad for first couple mods? Sorry im kinda oblivious to these 5.0

I assume you mean just the heads? Or do you mean both the heads and the intake? Either way, it will definitely help, as the heads are rather restrictive. For some extra free mods, remove the air silencer and advance the timing a few degrees. That will free up extra HP and torque and they're both free to do.

After that, he may want to look into full exhaust anda good set of gears (3.73s or 4.10s.) It's not going to give him a ton of HP, but it's relatively inexpensive and coupled with the other mods listed above, it will definitely make a difference that you can feel when driving.

I meant to say if it would really be a big difference if both are done, and how does he go about advancing the timings
