RE: 347 build up
ported trick flow tw heads are good heads, if u have em port em and they will feed the 347 just fine, although the afr 185's are nasty heads.
what cam are u using?
or did i miss it?

RE: 347 build up
If you're using a stock block, I have the perfect kit for you in my sig. Keep the compression to 10.5-11:1 so you can use pump gas. You'll get much more enjoyment out of the fact you can drive it on pump gas than you will by bumping the compression and forcing yourself to run $5/gallon gas just so you could get an extra ~15hp. You can make 400+rwhp with a pump gas 347 with a good EFI hyd. roller 6500rpmcombo.

RE: 347 build up
I think 400+rwhp might be a little optimistic
with out pushing 7,000rpm.
CompCams XFI cam for 347 stroker is what I run, mean street cam
AFR 185's with upgraded springs for high lift cam
Holley Sys II intake
1 3/4 LT's
would rock some shyt and put you in the 350-375rwhp area.
My 357ci with those same heads and cam but with carb setup
on an engine dyno made 465-475hp at 6,000rpm.
you can always get a custom cam and head combo too
for 6,500-7,000rpm and push it up to 400rwhp
Cost a little more.
